From Monday 2 December, Warrington Youth Zone will be in Latchford twice a week, as part of the Youth Zone Outreach Programme.
The new satellite youth club at Westy Community Centre on Bridge Street will soon open its doors to young people from across the Latchford area and beyond.
From 5-8pm, there will be a wide range of activities on offer for Juniors (7-11yrs) on Mondays and Seniors (11-16yrs) on Wednesdays.
Youth in Mind sessions will also run on both nights. This initiative is a free and discrete drop-in service for young people who are experiencing problems relating to their emotional wellbeing and would like to receive advice and support in a relaxed environment.
As part of the Youth Zone Outreach Programme initiative, entry to the new satellite youth club will be free for attendees, who will also receive membership to the main Youth Zone in Warrington Town Centre.
In addition, the satellite youth club will have a tuck shop providing a variety of food and drink, plus free toast.
Attendees will be able to enjoy trips out in the new year, with further details to be announced in due course.
The satellite youth club at Westy Community Centre will be open for the next three weeks before closing for a Christmas break, starting W/C Monday 23 December.
It will re-open as normal on Monday 6 January.
