YOOF is the free digital platform broadcasts engaging peer to peer, age relatable content for children, young people and adults up to 25 with SEN.

The platform shares video posts generated by members from organisations. There’s links to organisations for anyone wanting to know more about the creators and to join in their online or in person events.

YOOF is for every young person including those who feel isolated or struggle with their mental health exclusively across Warrington & Cheshire..

The advantage for a child or young person to join

A safe environment where users have access to peer-to-peer, age relatable activities that young people can try themselves without comments on content or directly messaging.. YOOF is an exciting chance to share what children and young people do in their organisation. YOOF has access to wellbeing content and organisations that can help with any young person looking for guidance about their own wellbeing.

The advantage to join for an Organisation

Share your organisation and young people’s work outside of your current audience. Joining YOOF allows you to challenge your current digital footprint by creating new content for your own audience and other platform users across Cheshire. Challenge your digital output and enhance the curriculum. YOOF is a fantastic support for any organisation’s wellbeing strategy.

If your organisation is looking to join in the conversation on YOOF please contact Dave Ditchfield at david.ditchfield@wyz.org.uk

Meet OOFY

OOFY’s place of origin is unknown and nobody knows how they learnt to speak English so well!
When OOFY isn’t interviewing interesting people for YOOF,  you will find them sat on an oversized bean bag eating Cheshire cheese sandwiches.
When asked what a perfect start to a day off is, the reply was; ‘marmite on toast, a nice brew and a colouring book, and a chocolate biscuit, maybe a cake, yes definitely a cake… mmm cake.’
If you have an interesting person with a great story get in touch via OOFY’s personal assistant David Ditchfield
