Youth Worker: Indoor Climbing Wall Instructor
Job Title: Youth Worker: Indoor Climbing Wall Instructor
Hours: Permanent: Part time from 8 to 24 hours a week
Salary: £10-£10.45 per hour
Location: Warrington Youth Zone, Dallam Lane
Sports and outdoor pursuits, alongside the Arts and Youth Work, is at the heart of Warrington Youth Zone’s offer to young people. The sports and climbing offer will be wide ranging and as a member of the Sports team, you will be key in ensuring young people have access to an exciting and engaging programme of adventurous activities that will be challenging, stimulating, fun, engaging and developmental. You will ensure the climbing wall is well used and maintained to a high standard by offering young people safe, exciting and challenging routes to climb in a friendly and welcoming environment. You will provide supervision and advice to young people and support and guide members of Warrington Youth Zone’s staff and volunteers.

To deliver an exciting programme of sports activities which will engage young people aged 8 – 19 years (up to 25 for those with additional needs). The sports offer at Warrington Youth Zone is wide ranging and as a member of the Sports Team, you will be key in ensuring young people have access to an exciting and engaging programme of adventurous activities that will be challenging, stimulating, fun, engaging and developmental. You will be involved in teaching the fundamentals of a single sport, or range of sports activities to young people, as well as facilitating taster sessions, competitions and challenges which build young people’s engagement, skills and fitness levels. You will coach and develop teams and support volunteer sports coaches.
Within the Sports Team, we are looking for talented sports and fitness coaches to become part of a team with a wide range of skills, who are also passionate about working with young people. Ideally, you will have experience, or one or more level 2 specific coaching qualifications, from a National Governing Body.

As a member of the creative arts team, you will be responsible for leading on the coaching and teaching of different dance forms and/or dance, you will be key in ensuring young people have access to an exciting and creative programme that will be challenging, stimulating, fun, engaging and developmental. You will be involved in teaching the fundamentals of a single or range of arts activities enabling young people to explore their creativity and grow their skills.
Within the arts team we are looking for a range of talented youth arts workers to make up a team with a diverse set of skills and expertise, who are also passionate about working with young people. Ideally, you will have experience delivering Dance and/or Dance.
Reception & Admin Coordinator
Job Title: Reception & Admin Coordinator
Hours: Full & Part Time Available
Salary: £5.31 - £10.00 per hour

A vital front of house role, the reception is the first point of contact for Youth Zone members (children and young people aged 8-19 years, up to 25 for those with additional needs) and their parents, stakeholders, partners and visitors. You will be the lead single point of contact on our reception desk providing a highly professional welcome and customer focused service. You will be positive about young people and will ensure that the Youth Zone functions to its maximum potential. You will be responsible for the reception area, visitors, deliveries, bookings and much more. This role also requires you to provide robust accurate and timely administration support to the Business Support Officer to ensuring the smooth running of the building and administration processes. Duties will include (but not exhaustive), welcoming young people, processing new members, directing phone calls and enquiries, maintaining the membership database efficiently and carrying out regular communication. Handling bookings, cash, banking, general enquiries, facilitating meetings and general office administration as requested.
