Babyzone Warrington, in partnership with Home-Start Warrington and Cheshire and Warrington Youth Zone, are proud to celebrate the incredible success of their first year working together to support local families with children aged 0-5 years.
Since opening their doors in March 2024, Babyzone has welcomed over 800 families to the project – which provides free baby and toddler classes to Warrington families.
The Babyzone Warrington partnership combines the expertise of each organisation to offer a holistic approach to early childhood development.
Expert practitioners deliver evidence-based classes such as Baby Sensory, Hartbeeps, Gym Tots, Caterpillar Music and Baby Massage.
These classes focus on essential areas of early childhood development while fostering a strong parent-child connection.
“We are thrilled to mark this milestone,” said Ellie Harrison, CEO at Home-Start Warrington and Cheshire.
“This partnership has truly created a space where families can come together, learn, and build stronger relationships. The success of this first year is a testament to the power of collaboration and the impact it has on families in Warrington.”
The activities and services offered through the partnership have been designed with both children and parents in mind.
As well as the free classes there are bespoke soft play areas, designed for both babies and toddlers and craft and colouring tables and reading corners.
These activities are intended to not only stimulate the children but also create opportunities for parents and caregivers to bond with their little ones in meaningful ways.
It is now universally recognised that the first 1,001 days are the most important time to shape a child’s brain development, and Babyzone provides opportunities for parents to do this via the free classes.
In addition to the classes and activities, the partnership offers a range of essential services through ‘one-stop shops.’
These drop-in services provide local families with access to valuable resources, including health visitors, midwives, oral health services, the library, and the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), among others.

This partnership continues to build momentum and create lasting change in the community, helping families navigate the challenges of early parenthood and supporting children’s development during the crucial early years.
