Warrington Youth Zone, a steadfast advocate for the health and wellbeing of young people, has reaffirmed its dedication to safety with the presence of an on-site defibrillator at their town centre HQ.
Generously donated by the Purslow Family, founder patrons of the organisation, the defibrillator has been a vital asset in ensuring the readiness to respond to emergencies promptly and effectively.
Recognising the importance of proactive measures, the Youth Zone has maintained its commitment to staff training, ensuring that all team members are proficient in using the defibrillator in case of an emergency.
This ongoing preparation underlines the organisation’s unwavering dedication to providing a secure environment for its young members, who range in age from 7-19 (and up to 25 for those with additional needs).
Warrington Youth Zone chief executive Dave McNicholl expressed his gratitude for the long-standing support of the Purslow Family.
“The safety and wellbeing of our members and staff remain our top priority,” he said.
“We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the Purslow Family for their continued generosity which, in this donation, has allowed us to enhance our emergency preparations and provide a safer environment for our community.”
As founder patrons, the Purslow Family’s enduring support has played a pivotal role in Warrington Youth Zone’s ability to fulfil its mission of empowering young people and fostering their development since the organisation opened its doors in 2022.
